How the analysis works

    Connect

    Connect an EVM wallet on Base Mainnet. If you are on another network, you get a one tap switch.

    Read history

    The server reads your public transfers and fees on Base. Nothing is signed or sent.

  3. 03

    Rebuild trades

    A swap is one asset out and one asset in. Sales are matched to purchases oldest first (FIFO).

  4. 04

    Show the proof

    Your biggest realized win and loss come with transactions, prices, fees and the full sum.

Honest about what it cannot see

Realized, not paper gains

Only completed sales count. Tokens you still hold, transfers in, and price moves after you sold are never treated as profit.

Missing data is labeled

Units that arrived by transfer have no known cost. They are excluded and the result is marked partial, never valued at zero.

Unclear trades are skipped

Liquidity actions and batched transactions are listed as unsupported instead of forced into a number.

Privacy

Read only by design. Nothing kept.

Base PnL reads public onchain history. It has no account system, no database and no way to move your funds.

  • Processed

    Your address, per analysis

    Sent to this app's server, which asks a data provider for public history and a price service for historical prices.

  • Retained

    Ten minutes, in memory

    No database and no account. A finished analysis is cached in server memory for about ten minutes, then discarded.

  • Never requested

    Keys, signatures, approvals

    Seed phrases, private keys, signatures, transactions and approvals are never asked for. Connecting only reads your address.

  • Shared

    Only when you choose

    A results card holds a shortened address, two headline results and total realized PnL. It exists only after you press share.

For abuse protection, request counts per network address are held in memory and expire automatically.
